Pamukkale which is one of the natural wonder of Turkey,hosts many local and foreign visitors. It is famous for springsand travertines. Thermal waters are good for many illnesses. Pamukkale which is riched for cultural remains, has called Hireapolis in the past. It was came under the ‘World Culturaland Natural Heritage’ by UNESCO in 1991. Thus, it is tried to keep natural view of travertines.
Because of visitors which have increased every year, its view has been polluted. Waters which must have used of travertines, may polluted by otels. The White view of travertines may been polluted, so it is come under by UNESCO. We should be careful of leaving this cultural heritage to next generations.
