Marmaris-Bodrum-Greek Islands Trip

Day 1
Marmaris- Kumlu Buku

Boarding starts at 15:30 from Marmaris Harbour. You will be informed about the cruise itinerary and the gulet. Then we will cruise to Kumlu Buku.
Kumlubuk not for nothing called turquoise paradise. The sea is so clear that you can see marine life at depths of up to five meters . There are no big buildings. For the convenience of tourists , built here a few restaurants and hotels . Kumlubuk summer is especially popular among fans of boating . Here they stop the boat and spend hours enjoying a bath and beauty of the coastal zone.You can walk to inside of the Kumlubuk , there are betwen two mauntains the ancient city Amos is located. The road to the ancient city are very picturesquear , tall pine tries and tropical palms covering the serpantin road. From the top of mountain you will be able to take several breathtaking picture of the bay !The fishing enthusiasts will not be bored on Kumlubuk. For a small fee, you can easily organize an excellent deep-sea fishing . It’s enough to deal with the local fishermen .

Day 2
Rhodes Island

This is the one of that beautiful places in the world where ancient is adjacent to the civilization , the sea to the mountains , with the slow pace of temperament. Rhodes – island where together with beach vacation there are extensive excursion program.During the walk you will visit the main sights of the city of Rhodes Palace of the Grand Masters , an ancient hospital , numerous residences , street knights. Also it`s nessesary to visit the hill of Monte Smith, with a breathtaking view of the old and the new cityes , the ruins of the temple of Apollo, the ancient stadium and theater.
The island is really rich about magnifisent beaches located on the east coast of Rhodes. The long sandy beach Tsambika is 26 km south- east of the island’s capital. Everyone can take part in water sports.Very close to beach nearby monastery of Panagia Tsambika and a small church is located, from which, in fact , the terrain and inherited it`s name. It can be reached by walking on the stone road to the top of the hill. There are some legend that this place helps to people who want to have a child or family .On the other side of a small hill in the east on the character is a gorgeous beach – Agate Beach. Golden sand and shallow waters make this beach ideal for those who go to holiday together with children.
Lindos city
To get the Acropolis you can either walk or riding a donkey. The road to the Acropolis is very picturesque. You will meet stone fountains that still supplied with water by means of ancient aqueducts, past the white square houses with sky-blue shutters and gates. You will walk past the gardens, laden with pots and sweet taverns with magnificent flavors.Reached the top and after visiting the ancient city, do a couple of shots of cozy bay St. Peter and Lindos town aerial view.
Lindos Beach is so beautiful while you are standing on top of Acropolis. Therefore, if you come to see the Acropolis you should also get acquainted with the beach . Gorgeous golden sand and all the necessary infrastructure for a rest at your disposal. And if you decided to stay for dinner at one of the local taverns , it`s magestic place for to spend evening here after sunset – Acropolis decorated with special illumination.We will stay overnight here.

Day 3
Symi Island

The main settlement of the island – small village Simy. It`s houses are painted with different colors and this fact doing this place fantastically beautiful. On the mountain near a small village it is possible to see ruins of fortress of Knights which was constructed on the Acropolis place. Also on the top of mountain the church of the Virgin Mary and Fortress are located. If you`ll have time you can visit a museum and an operating monastery Panormitis with magnificent wall painting.

Day 4
Tilos Island, Nisiros Island

Tilos in fact, the island of four villages, one of which uninhabited. All houses in the village also are sacredly built by rules of Dodekanes architecture. Seaside "prospectus" conducts in Ayos-Stephane’s picturesque bay (Saint Stephane). In Livadya, it is the port town of island , it is possible to get the most important historical monuments of the island: with medieval Agriosikyas ruins ,built on an eminence, with ruins of an old Christian basilica, with Saint Nikolay’s church with magnificent frescos of the XIII century and Church of the Panagia of Politissa in Misokali’s town.The most popular beach of Tilos is, perhaps, Eristos’s beach – a wide strip of granulated sugar send, and in a fertile valley of Eristos. Natural continuation of a beach of Eristos is the sandy beach of Plaka which especially we love for sea kind of sports. Tilos is a research of knight’s castles, the old churches which have taken cover in a shadow of oaks, plane trees, this touch to history through the remained frescos created by artists seven centuries ago.
Nisirros Island
Most of the people, who is living here are old people, escaped from the hustle and enjoying with happy life.Around the little town Mandraki towering fortress of the knights of St.John and on the edge of the rock stands. Church of the virgin Cave ( built in 1960) , it is patron Saint of the island.
1.5 km to the East from the capital city is located Loutra – resort, famous since ancient times for its healing springs, which are still in operation. To the East of Loutra is a picturesque fishing village Fell, immersed in the greenery of olive, fruit and trees, vineyards. The locals are mainly engaged in gardening and farming, so here you can eat natural food, grown on the fertile lands of Nisiros.
The main attraction of the island of Nisyros is a volcano. A scentists are saing the island was formed through a series of volcanic eruptions, which is unique in Greece. This is one of the active volcanoes in Europe since 1996 volcano has become more active, and earthquakes are not uncommon. The best way to see around is to rent a car or bike. Traditional souvenirs from Nisiros island is semiprecious stone obsidian which get from Gyali island.

Day 5
Gyali Island, Kos Island

We will start our trip early in the morning and our goal is to visit the quaint stone island Gyali. The Gyali Island consists of thick layers of pumice-stone and obsidian and perlite, here is mining plant.
Kos Island
The Huge Ancient (XV Century) Castle Of Knights Will Meet The Sea-Travelers On The Entrance Of Harbor. Near The Port Is An Extensive Archaeological Area With Ruins Of Buildings Of The Hellenistic And Roman Eras – Gimnasia, The Odeon, The Temple Of Aphrodite, The Temple Of Hercules, Roman Baths And Roman Villas With Mosaic Fragments. Ruins Of A Temple Asklepios Are 4 Kilometers From The Capital Of The Island And It Will Take Around 20-25 Minutes To Reach The Asklepios By Car And About 30 Minutes By Bike. Day 6
Kalymnos Island

Beauty of the island will captivate your heart at first sight – the mountainous terrain with two sprawling valley below mesmerizing sight, piercingly clear blue sea will not let you forget it.The island is not only a rich history and extraordinary nature, azure sea and picturesque beaches. Here countless ro?s so here developed climbing and diving. The island of Kalymnos is famous for the numerous romantic bays and caves, keeping their legends, many of which can only be reached by sea. Most popular of them is the cave of the Seven Virgins (or Grotto Nymphs) and cave Kefala, according to the legend served as a refuge for Zeus.The island has explored the cave with a rich stalactite and stalagmite decor, in which you can get with excursions.Archaeological interest is a cave in the rocks near the Bay of Vathi, the findings of which indicate that the cave was inhabited since Neolithic times. The local population is famous for all of Greece for its fishers of sea sponges. For this reason the museum of sponge is opened here. This is the main fishing for local residents, as for tourism, the island is opened not so long ago. You have to visit the archaeological Museum, which is located in the capital of the island Choir and includes exhibits, dating back even to prehistoric times. This is real evidence that life arose long ago. The capital of the island is the town Pothia with a population of 10 thousand people. The town was founded in the middle of the 19th century. In the city you can see two of the Cathedral: the Cathedral of St. Nicholas and the Christ of the Savior from the ancient icons and frescoes.The city has many neoclassical houses – heritage Italians. One of these houses there is an Archaeological Museum Kalymnos.
The old island’s capital town Choir located about a kilometer from, in direction to the North-West. Near the village you can see the fortress .On the territory of the fortress is the Church of the Virgin; the icon is stored here, where the mother of God is depicted with gold-plated hands. From the fortress there is a great view of the cityPothiaand visible to the neighbouring island of Kos. The most popular beaches on the island are the beaches of Kanuni, Linaria, Mussoorie and Vlikadia.

Day 7
Pserimos Island, Turgutreis

On a cozy island Pserimos there are only one small village ( the area of island is about 15 square kilometers, and the number of permanent residents no more than 100 people. ) Main work of local population is fishing and work in a tourism . The island is interesting for tourists presence unusually beautiful beach with fine sand and crystal-clear waters of the Aegean Sea . Like most of the sandy islands, entry into the water is very shallow and it makes the beach extremely convenient for travelers with children . Travelers will meet hospitable taverns and cafes with traditional Greek cuisine.
Leros Island. The island is famous becouse of the fact that once the Greek goddess Artemis reigned here , here the places associated with the local legend of the ancient Hellenic calydonian hunting. But not only for lovers of history and archeology these places interesting are. Here you can enjoy unspoiled nature , numerous picturesque bays and coves in lush. Just climb up to the windmills on the mountain and you`ll enjoy an extraordinary panorama. You can walk to a single Leros island`s village, if you go down the road .What`s interesting to watch: ancient castle Palokastro , here is the church of Panagia of the 4th century, the church of Agia Kiur, Belem Tower, built in 1925 by Parisem Belm. The tower is a historical and folklore museum of Leros . And in the evening , under a sky with a full of stars , it`s a great pleasure to taste fresh fish grilled with garlic and lemon juice , a traditional Greek salad with fresh cheese and drink flavored wine in old-fashioned fishing village Pandeli in one of the coastal taverns.
Turgutreis
We`ll travel to the ??Turgutreis – a business center , the second largest city near Bodrum . Here infrastructure developed perfectly and the city attracts a tourists with a huge choice of shopping malls and trendy nightclubs . But the first thing we will visit the extraordinarily beautiful beach Karainzhir . The beach is famous for its range and quality , the golden sand and the sea is calm due to several islands gathered around the bay ,it`s protect the beach from winds and storms. On the beach you can drive on these attractions, such as: banana , water Motorcycles , parasailing here you will not be bored .Lovers of Scuba diving can be attracted for swimming near the islands Orak, Kargil, Kechek and Catal .In a quiet hamlet " Kadikalessi " you can plunge into the atmosthere of relax and hospitality. Here, cozy cafes and chic restaurants offer the gourmet cuisine as Turkish as well as home cooking . But first of all , pay attention to the fish kitchen Korfes, Tekirda kofteci, Fener, Alins, Bolulu Hasan Usta, Mona Liza and Ay Bey. Wide streets , mandarin plantations , rich selection of various fruits and a huge selection of fish and seafood will surprise the most discerning travelers .Nightlife abounds in Turgutreis , there are many bars and discos with different style and music .

Day 8
Karaincir, Bodrum

We will have a swimming stop at Karaincir on the way back to Bodrum. Karaincir is a 500 metre stretch of soft golden sand which is great for all the family. The tranquil blue water is invitingly calm, and also offers a number of watersports from banana boats to pedaloes. You can also soak up the relaxed ambience around the beach from one of the many sun loungers made available, whilst sipping on a refreshing drink from one of the venders.
Bodrum
Bodrum – one of the most popular Turkish resort on the Aegean coast elite. White two-storey houses Bodrum constitute a unique architectural style, strictly persist to this day. Bodrum – a favorite vacation spot of the Turkish elite and bohemian meeting place for artists and patrons, making the city amosferu indescribably exquisite. In Bodrum restaurants await you the freshest seafood and the best dishes are not only traditional Turkish , but also Italian, Chinese , Mexican, Thai and European dishes – from the simple to the incredibly tantalizing treats. You will receive a special treat , visit the cozy suburban taverns and restaurants , located on the shore . You can reach them by car, bus or boat.

Day 9
Palamut Buku, Inceburun

The Palamut Buku it is known for the most beautiful beaches surrounded with mountains and beautiful gardens, the purest water, with abundance of fish. This place really deserved to be called as paradise. Then , we will sail to antique city Knidos. This city has built on the most beautiful place of the peninsula for honor of the goddess Aphrodite. In the IV century it was known as the culture and art center. In Knidos the medical academy second in the history under the leadership of the doctor Eurikhon together with the pupils was created. The mathematician Eudoksus made here discovery of a sundial which and now remained in vicinities of ruins.
Knidos has harbors on the Mediterranean coast and on Aegean. There is an avenue in the form of the heart, framed with marble columns, and the Statue Aphrodite decorated all this with her beauty. In this place very beautiful magnificent landscapes. There lived known scientists, such as, the doctor Eurikhon, the artist Polignotus, the mathematician Eudoksus and the architect Sostratos who constructed the Aleksandrovsky beacon. To walk on ancient streets and to buy souvenirs in numerous shops, or to get warm on under a sun and to swim in crystal-clear water, to try local delicacies – there is lots of things which it is necessary to do at this magnificent place.
Inceburun
We drop anchor in one of the most beautiful places in the world Inceburun. Here you can swim with a mask or diving, as well as enjoy the incredibly beautiful natural bay.
Geological fault formed a unique environment for fish habitat special! In sunny day sun rays penetrate the water column to the depths and creating a breathtaking sight!We will have dinner and overnight spend here.
We will anchor at Ince Burun after lunch and swimming breaks. We will stay in this lovely bay for dinner and an overnight stay.

Day 10
Aktur Bay, Bencik Bay

After breakfast, we will sail to Bencik Bay. The bays of the Gulf of Hisaronu can be reached by our yacht from Bencik.We will have dinner at the gulf of Aktur.Indisputable advantages of this resort before other tourist centers on the coast of Turkey are the first-class ecological situation, untouched a civilization the sea and coastal landscapes sparkling on the sun of a wave and the bottomless night sky, covered with such bright stars which it is rarely possible to observe. Besides, rest in this region is advised to some people for medical reasons, because of a unique microclimate and very low humidity of air doctors recommend to go to Datcha to the patients having diseases of cardiovascular and airways. As a Strabon,the Greek historian and the geographer, told : "the one whom gods love, they send to Datcha that he long lived".
The city of Datcha is on a place of the ancient city settlement Knid. In different milestones of the history this earth serially belonged to the Roman Empire, Byzantium, was a part of Menteshe and the Ottoman Empire. In the 20th century the city any time was known under Reshadiye’s name. Today Datcha is the full-fledged Turkish settlement in which lives a little more than 10 thousand people.

Day 11
Emel Sayin Bay, Orhaniye Bay, Selimiye Bay

We will cruise to Selimiye Bay for lunch.
The ancient name of this village was Hydas, which got changed to Losta. At sunset, the sun disappearing behind the mountains surrounding the village seems to dye the scenery in a rich red hue. The ancient site of Bybossos Hydas (Selimiye) has ruins dating back to the archaic period. One of the highest hills of the region is in Selimiye, the other one at the top of Sarikaya and the last one has three castle ruins, including the Kzlk??arkale Quarter. The sheep-shaped southeastern hills are visited by foreign tourists looking to explore the castle ruins dating back to the Hellenistic era. The tomb in the southern part of the square is located 100 meters offshore from the coast and shows ships the way to the Selimiye. Other areas of interest include a monitoring tower, a lighthouse, a monastery and a theater.
Beaches in the center of Selimye are stony but if you will move to the left from Fortress on water to depth of the village you will meet unusual, lonely ,wild , sandy beach with a great number of inhabitants inside of sand (crabs and mollusks). The pine wood frames an azure bay. Here the great number of animals and it is very silent. This bay is famous for visiting by couples in love.American underwater archeologists and scientists are engaged in researching sunken wrecks in the region and have produced valuable findings that are now exhibited in the Bodrum Underwater Museum. Selimiye is frequented by the Blue Cruise boats. Selimiye – Hisaronu – Orhaniye are like an indispensable trio. Selmiye is also renowned for its clean sea water, a great bounty of fish, vegetables, fruits, almond and olive trees, the smell of fresh thyme and oregano enveloping the mountains, clean, pollution-free air, peaceful environment and warm people.Then our gulet will cruise to Orhaniye Bay for dinner. Legendary Orkhaniye with the girl sand, the unusual nature and local history attracts here a huge number of tourists. Take a journey down its quaint village roads to discover the historic castle of the black knight . Besides, huge opportunities to eat well, taste rural cheese, olives, fruit and almonds because places here are very fertile.

Day 12
Dirsekbuku, Bozburun

After breakfast, we will anchor in Dirsekbuku. Dirsekbuku is cozy territory between the Gulf in the Aegean Sea and the Gulf of Hisaronu and to many tourists travelling from Bodrum to Marmaris who stop here for rest, which is whey this region is replete with several sheltered bays. In addition, Dirsekbuku offers a great cruising experience, especially if you are exiting the different islands and sailing around Hisaronu in the morning.
Bozburun are famous like a ship workshops. Very popular wooden yachts had been made here. During walk on hills it is possible to meet the remains of the ancient city of Larumna. Bozburun has become a central attraction, visited by tourists from all across the world. American underwater archeologists and scientists are engaged in researching sunken wrecks in the region and have produced valuable findings that are now exhibited in the Bodrum Underwater Museum. Selimiye is frequented by the Blue Cruise boats. Selimiye – Hisaronu – Orhaniye are like an indispensable trio. Selmiye is also renowned for its clean sea water, a great bounty of fish, vegetables, fruits, almond and olive trees, the smell of fresh thyme and oregano enveloping the mountains, clean, pollution-free air, peaceful environment and warm people.

Day 13
Bozukkale (Loryma), Serce Bay

Here were found the remains of 11th century ships that are exhibited in the museum of Bodrum. In the ancient city Bazukole (Loryma) is a castle, which is a quadrangle with the city walls and 9 temples. Name Bozukale means Crooked Castle and may be associated with the fact that one wall of the castle is destroyed. Due to its location and narrow entrance to the port, the port also used the Greek forces during the Peloponnesian naval battle. Karor leader of the Athenians, gathered all his ships here before kunidusskoy war in 395 BC and Demetrius, son of Antigonus, the port used for the preparation of the attack on Rhodes in 305 BC.

Day 14
Arap Island, Kadirga Bay

After breakfast we will cruise to Arap Island for for swimming and snorkel. Then we will cruise to Kadirga Bay for lunch. With the white lighthouse and the guard house on the headland just before Kadirga, Kadirga Bay is another stopping point. Boats coming from Marmaris carry lots of tourists who wish to swim in this bay. Then our boat will cruise back to Marmaris Port for the last day’s dinner and an overnight stay.Kadirga Bay – a wonderful place, enabling divers of all categories to enjoy the extraordinary beauty of the local flora and fauna. So, less experienced divers explore reefs in shallow waters and more experienced divers sometimes swim to the bottom of the base of the cliffs, which are located at a depth of 38-40 meters.At a depth of 15 meters large area of ??the reef strewn myriad of broken amphorae, who came here as a result of a shipwreck in the Hellenistic era. During the summer here sail huge flocks of small crustaceans and various insects, making the site becomes more colorful. Here live many moray eels and other predators.Then our boat will cruise back to Marmaris Port for the last day’s dinner and an overnight stay.

Marmaris

Upon agreement, the guests will leave the gullet with precious memories by 10:30.
