5. Life Onboard

Modern charter yachts provide hotel comfort, most cruisers prefer to spend their vacation onboard sunbathing, sipping a drink, and watching beauty around. Swimming and doing water sports are also among the activities that tourists like most. You may want to go ashore and visit historical sights and towns, go tracking or do some sports.

You will certainly need a camera with sufficient memory as you are most likely to snap thousands of photos. The weather is mostly sunny from May to October, so don’t forget your sunglasses, a hat, sun-protecting crème, beach towel, swimwear, and beach shoes. Take some clothes to wear in the evening when it becomes cooler, some casual clothes are just perfect. If you plan to dine in fine restaurants then you’ll need something smart to wear, and if you are going to do tracking or take long walks – you should think about some good sports footwear. Think of anything else you may need during your trip: books, games, medicines, or a sleeping bag if you want to sleep on the deck under the stars.

Don’t use too much water and electricity as there’s a limited supply on board.
Smoking is not allowed inside. You can smoke on deck but do not throw the butts into the sea.
The wind can easily blow your things away, so please take care.
Don’t throw toilet paper or anything else that can block the toilet. Use the bin at the side.
The captain can change the original route if something comes up, e.g. the weather changes.
If you’re away from the boat tell a crew member and your friends when you’ll return. If the captain asks you to be back at a specific time, then make sure you’re not late.
Keep watch over your children all the time.
You might like to jump off the side of the boat. However, please wait for the boat’s engines to stop. Also, don’t swim too far from the boat and avoid swimming into the path of other boats.
The boat’s dinghy can be used only to take you to and from shore, or as a lifeboat.
Wet floors may be slippery so please watch out. Also, be careful with any other equipment on the boat whilst you’re moving around.
When you leave the boat please make sure you haven’t left anything.
Turkyacht team will be happy to meet you on the boat and to answer all your questions, and if any questions appear during your cruise, the captain will help you solve them.. Turkyacht gulet charter.
