A small Greek island Arkoi is located in the eastern part of the Aegean Sea and is part of the Cyclades. It is very close to the island of Patmos.
The main historical attraction are the ruins of the Arch of the ancient acropolis (from which little is preserved to this day), located on a hilltop with spectacular views of the harbor and sea space with numerous islands and the Turkish coast. It is said that this hill can be seen stunningly beautiful at sunset over the Aegean Sea. You can visit the beautiful cave with stunning stalactites and stalagmites. However, finding the entrance will be difficult as it is overgrown with bushes and olive trees. Also on the island there are a number of small churches.
In Arkoi the island there are several good beaches. Busiest among them is Tiganakya beach, known as the “Blue Lagoon”. It is situated in a small rocky bay and is famous for its crystal-clear waters. Also there is a popular sandy cove paddle near the harbor and the beach Limnari.
